When you donate to the Children’s Mentoring Connection, no matter how little or big the amount, your contribution allows us to make a real difference in lives of Hancock County Youth.
Research shows that a child matched with a mentor is 52% more likely to have better school attendance, 42% are more likely to avoid using illegal drugs and 33% are more likely to avoid aggressive or violent behavior.
Children’s Mentoring Connection is the premier youth mentoring agency in Hancock County. We serve young people between the ages of 6 and 14, and CMC’s work since 1974 has helped over 3,400 young people find the support and guidance they need to build productive and meaningful lives.
Giving Tuesday began as one special day (the Tuesday after Thanksgiving) to coordinate thousands of donations to charitable organizations around the country. Today, Giving Tuesday continues year-round.
For Children’s Mentoring Connection, Giving Tuesday includes gifts of tickets (movies, bowling, concerts, sporting events), "back stage" passes, and coupons or gift cards to restaurants. Use your imagination and encourage our "matches" to do things together!
Tickets may be mailed or dropped off at our offices.
